
Branding a Planet-Friendly Packaging Company with a Rebel Heart
WildKind helps eco-conscious companies transition to compostable and recyclable flexible packaging, delivering solutions that are better for business and the planet. When the founders approached us, they had a name, a strong vision, and a mission rooted in sustainability. We took that foundation and developed a full brand system to support their launch, including a hand-drawn logo, brand identity, sample packaging, social media assets, brand and social guidelines, brand photography, and creative brand extensions.
The Process
From the start, the WildKind team was clear about their values: Practice Kindness, Build Trust, Helpful Progress, and Show Courage. These principles didn’t just guide the business, they informed the brand’s personality and visual direction. Together, we built a creative platform around the concept of The Rebel Heart, an outspoken, purpose-driven identity designed to challenge norms while building trust and optimism.
The WildKind logo was hand-drawn to channel the rebellious spirit of the late ’60s, with visual references to Sgt. Pepper and iconic psychedelic posters of the era.
To balance this expressive mark, we paired it with Grifinito, a compact, elegant typeface used across headlines and key messaging. A floral pattern, whimsical animated gifs, and deconstructed botanical elements were incorporated throughout the brand system, adding fun and warmth while reinforcing WildKind’s commitment to thoughtful, nature-first design.
